Home My WebLink About[09a] Mayor Appointments Council Agenda Item 9a MEETING DATE: February 5, 2018 AGENDA ITEM: 2018 Mayor Appointments SUBMITTED BY: Mayor Schultz BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Annually the Mayor submits for ratification the appointments for the coming year. The appointments designate representatives to various Boards and Commission. Please notice that the cable commission is stricken through. City staff updates the bulletin board and we hire people to run the camera so it did not make sense to keep on. The appointment for acting Mayor should be a separate action as the Council must go through a nomination process and then vote from the nominations. This process should be completed after the ratification of the appointments.
