Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council for the City of St. Joseph met in special session
on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the St. Joseph Government Center.
Members Present: Mayor Rick Schultz, Councilors Dale Wick, Troy Goracke, Bob Loso. Administrator
Judy Weyrens, City Attorney Tom Jovanovich.
Wick made a motion for the Council to enter into a closed meeting at 6:00 PM, pursuant to MN
Statute 13.05D Subd. 2 to discuss preliminary consideration of allegations against a City
Employee. The motion was seconded by Schultz and passed unanimously by those present. The
following attended the closed meeting: Mayor Rick Schultz; Councilors Dale Wick, Bob Loso and Troy
Goracke; City Administrator Judy Weyrens; City Attorney Tom Jovanovich.
Upon reopening the meeting, Wick made a motion affirming the placement of Police Chief Joel Klein
on paid administrative leave allowing the investigation to be completed. The motion was
seconded by Killam and passed unanimously.
Adjourn: Wick made a motion to adjourn at 7:19 PM; seconded by Loso and passed unanimously
by those present.
