The City has already engaged Brothers Fire & Security to provide fire monitoring for the facility, which is the same vendor for the Government Center. The School District had an antiquated card access system that is proprietary so that is currently not available. Staff is requesting to add to the system for the government center. In order to do that we have to upgrade the existing card reader system to add capacity for expansion. This expansion will take care of any future expansion to the system as well. Staff is also requesting to extend the current phone system into the facility. We have expansion room on our current system and this would allow for a couple of phones in the facility for when the gym is open or classes are scheduled. The final item is adding wireless adapter and a switch for computers. We do not plan on adding computers at this time but a laptop could be used or we can add a desktop.
