PREVIOUS EDA ACTION: The EDA has been working with a developer to construct shovel ready
lots adjacent to the existing Industrial Park in the Rennie Addition. The City secured a BDPI Grant in the
amount of$ 1,245,000 for the public infrastructure costs.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The EDA has agreed to partner with a developer to create
shovel ready lots with the EDA contributing up to $40,000 in engineering fees and to prepare the grant
application documents. At this time the grant has been secured and the project is ready for platting;
however the road ways are not secure.
Discussion is needed on how to proceed with the development
