Judy,
We have studied the hotel market study for the St. Joseph Like you, we were disappointed that the opportunity
didn't look better. We were especially concerned about what we saw as somewhat low occupancy rates in the
whole St. Cloud area even before the new hotels come on line in Wait Park.
Thus, we aren't ready to move forward in this market at this time. We are deeply engaged in two boutique
hotels, one in St. Paul and another in Dubuque, Iowa as well as a potential new hotel to be built in Grand
Rapids....so our hands are pretty full right now.
We do appreciate St. Joseph, and you, taking the initiative to do the market study and we will return for another
look at this market in a couple of years. Thank you for your initiative and your graciousness as we met with
you. We wish you and St. Joseph the best going forward.
