AGENDA ITEM: Recomendation of Officers
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The position of Fire Chief for a 2 year term is open this year. The
current Chief,Jeff Taufen was the only one who applied.
We had 4 members apply for the 3 2-year and 1 1-year positions of Captain. They are Paul Phillipp,
(current), Keith Louwagie (current),Andy Loso (current), and Shirlie Brill.. The Fire departments
investigating committee met and discussed and are making a recommendation to the Fire Board for Paul
Phillipp, Keith Louwagie for the 2-year Captains positions, and Andy Loso for the 1 year Captain
position.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: No
ATTACHMENTS: No
REQUESTED ACTION: Have the Fire Board approve the recommendations of Officers made by the Fire
Chief and the Departments Investigating committee.
