AGENDA ITEM: Officers Pay
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The last time the Officers pay was address was in 2008,with the Chiefs
salary going from $2500 to$3500 per year,the Assistant Chief went from $1500 to $2500,the Captains
went from $0 to 1000 a year, and the secretary pay has stayed the same at$300. The call volume was
270 for the year and we are now looking at 460+a year.
I would like to start the discuss of have the fire board look at the possibility of increasing the pay table
for the officers of the St.Joe Fire. I have sent out a request to the Mutual Aid departments in the area
to see where we are at compared to them. I will bring back at the February meeting.
