AGENDA ITEM: Fire Chief's Report
• We have 1 new member(Nick Curtis),who was put on suspension January 12th, due to him
not getting his CDL license done in his 2 year window. He will be on suspension until he is
able to obtain his CDL. He does have his road test scheduled on March 8th
• No news on the AFG grant that was written for a new Grass Rig and is a 95/5 grant. We will
not know until June of 2019 if we received the grant. The grant writer's cost was$400.00.
The total truck cost came to$119,484.96
• Ended the year of 2018 with a total of 475 paged out calls. The most ever!
• The Ladder truck committee has been doing a little talking but will continue to meet and get
ideas and cost back to the Fire board about the possibility of a new Ladder truck in the future.
