HomeMy WebLinkAbout[05] Outdoor Liquor Event, La Playette Council Agenda Item 5 MEETING DATE: March 18, 2019 AGENDA ITEM: Outdoor Liquor Event, La Playette SUBMITTED BY: Administration/Police BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The City Council has previously approved outdoor requests from the La Playette and the event has occurred without incident. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The La Playette has applied for an outdoor event on August 23, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The Ordinance requires a public hearing for music events that extend beyond 10:00 PM and allows the music to go until midnight. The application has been reviewed by the Police Chief with the following recommendations: perimeter fencing; hiring of 1 off-duty officer; music will end by 11 PM and the grounds to be cleaned no later than 8:00 AM August 24, 2019.
