AGENDA ITEM: Capital Request – Outdoor Electrical Service – Authorize the
expenditure of $ 2,685 to install electrical service outside the Community Center.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City does not have a facility where outdoor activities can
occur that need power. Previously the City had Millstream Park; however when the campground was
removed the power went with. The power is needed for events such as movies in the Park. We are
proposing to resume the outdoor movie nights and need power for that activity. The movie night will
coincide with the night that BAM is camping on the grounds. The power will be used for other activities
as well. Budget funds are available.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: $ 2,685.00 + staff time for trenching
