PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Stearns County has secured federal funding to install traffic
confirmation lights on several of the County-owned signal lights to help with red light running
enforcement. The County has worked with Chief Pfannenstein on the signals along CSAH 75 in St.
Joseph.
There is no cost to the City for the project. The County needs municipal approval for the plans to
continue through the federal aid approval process.

REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize the Mayor and Administrator to execute Resolution 2019-
034 Approving County Project within Municipal Corporate Limits.

APPROVING COUNTY PROJECT WITHIN MUNICIPAL CORPORATE LIMITS
PROJECT 073-070-022
RECITALS:
WHEREAS, plans for Project No. S.P. 073-070-022 showing proposed traffic signal
improvements along CSAH 75 within the limits of the City of St. Joseph as a Federal Aid Project have
been prepared and presented to the City.
THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. That said plans be in all things approved.
