PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: In 2017 the City Council approved three resolutions identifying
three projects whereby the City would request funding assistance through the State Bonding process. The
three projects included: Jacob Wetterling Recreation Center, CR 75 Pedestrian Crossing and the first
phase of East Park.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Minnesota Management and Budget Department has
announced it is accepting requests for consideration in the 2020 capital budget. In 2017 the City
completed this process submitting three projects for possible funding through the State. The City is
required to pass a resolution in support and rank the projects if more than one is submitted. The deadline
for submitting capital projects is May 31, 2019.
