The City accepted applications for three weeks and received 19 applications. Of those, only nine were complete. The evaluations were scored and five candidates were selected for interview. On July 10 the Personnel Committee along with Chief Dwight Pfannenstein and SJU Director of Security Shawn Vierzba interviewed the candidates and have recommended the hiring of Anthony Milostan. He is currently a patrol officer in Albany and would be available to start on July 1, 2019. BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: ATTACHMENTS: REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Hire Anthony Milostan as a Police Officer at step one effective July 1,2019.
