PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: At the June 17, 2019 City Council meeting the Council tabled action on
the outdoor permit application for Bad Habit to gather additional information on parking for the event.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Police Chief met with Aaron Rieland and they will only be utilizing 8
of the parking spaces for the event,the remaining parking areas will be available. The Outdoor event is
scheduled for September 14, 2019 and is fund raiser for Alzheimer's. Live music will start at 1:00 PM
and end by 8 PM. The Police Chief has reviewed the application and requires 1 licensed officer and the
area must be fenced. The Ordinance does not limit the number of outdoor events that an establishment
can have provided they are done by 10:00 PM. Only 8 parking spaces will be unavailable for the event.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: The cost for the officer is the responsibility of Bad Habit.
