MEETING DATE:August 12th, 2019 AGENDA ITEM: Fire Chief's Report • We have 1 new member(Nick Curtis), who after being put on suspension January 12th, has been able to get his CDL license done and is now back on the department. • No news on the AFG grant that was written for a new Grass Rig and is a 95/5 grant. We will not know until June of 2019 if we received the grant. The grant writer's cost was$400.00. The total truck cost came to $119,484.96 • The first 6—months ended with 217 calls. (Puts us at about 480 calls for the year) • The Ladder truck committee has been doing a little talking but will continue to meet and get ideas and cost back to the Fire board about the possibility of a new Ladder truck in the future.
