PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The Council has previously waived the rental fees for other service
organizations such as the Girl Scouts, Senior Citizens, Chamber, Y2K Lions, etc.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Staff received a request from Women of Today asking that the rental

fee for the St. Joseph Community Fire Hall be waived. The group plans to meet the 2 Monday of every
month from 6:30 – 9:30 PM. At this time, there are no calendar conflicts. The group has agreed to
submit a completed reservation form as well as the damage deposit in the amount of $200.00
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: Waiving of $100.00 Rental Fee

REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize use of the St. Joseph Community Fire Hall at no charge for
the Women of Today contingent upon the submittal of a completed reservation form and $200.00
damage deposit.
