HomeMy WebLinkAbout[06a] Water Supply Plan Adoption Council Agenda Item 6a MEETING DATE: November 4, 2019 AGENDA ITEM: Water Supply Plan Adoption SUBMITTED BY: Public Works/Engineering BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: In 2017, the Council approved the professional services agreement authorizing SEH to update the City’s water supply plan. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Every 10 years as required by law, public water suppliers serving populations over 1,000 people are required to update their Water Supply Plan (WSP). The updates to the current water supply plan were completed by SEH and the plan was approved by the DNR in July of this year. For the plan to become effective, it needs to be formally adopted by the City Council. BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: None ATTACHMENTS: Certificate of Adoption Water Supply Plan REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize the Public Works Director to execute the Certificate of Adoption, adopting the Water Supply Plan.
