AGENDA ITEM: Unit #3 Replacement – FEMA Grant
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Last year we hired a grant writer to assists us with writing a FEMA grant
to replace our 1997 grass rig. This is a 95/5 grant and costed us $400 for
the grant writer. Unfortunately, we did not get chosen.
I would like to meet with him again to see if he thinks we would have a
chance to try it again. If we do hire him, it would be another $400.00
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: yes, $400.00
ATTACHMENTS: No
REQUESTED ACTION: Have the Fire Board approve writing for another FEAM Grant for next year.
