BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota wishes to
conduct a raffle n the city limits of St Joseph. Because the low prize value, the state and county do not
require a traditional application. Sustainable Farming Association requests the City Council approve the
raffle. They also request that the City waive the $40 administration fee to be waived due to our small
prize value.
ATTACHEMENT: Request Letter from Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota.
REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize the Mayor and Administrator to waive the $40 fee and
allow Sustainable Farming Association to conduct a raffle in the city limits of St Joseph.
