HomeMy WebLinkAbout[12a] Administration Report KRIS AMBUEHL CITY ADMINISTRATOR 75 Callaway Street East St Joseph, MN 56374 kambuehl@cityofstjoseph.com ADMINISTRATION REPORT TO: HONERABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: December 16, 2019 SUMMARY We met with college and staff to work through and meet the street lighting agreement. Discussed with staff and metering company to determine future water meter equipment requirement. We met with local residents interested in developing a youth baseball program. Staff hosted a College/Resident meeting to discuss improved relations. Implemented First Net cellular priority service for the public works department. I met with (2) council members and public works to discuss future building needs. Discussed affordable housing with Centra Care and United Way. Attended both the city and joint planning commission meetings. Reviewed the cities insurance policy with our agent for renewal. Met with CVB director, we developed guidelines for moving forward as the CVB gains momentum. Represented the city in presence for the Fire Relief Association meeting. LMC webinar on Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act Clearinghouse STAFF I met with multiple staff members for initial development and expectations. Received Union proposals Meet with department heads. Kayla and Mary are working hard on election planning UPCOMING MEETINGS & EVENTS Meeting with College and Metro Bus to review needs. Meeting with CSB staff to improve communication and relations.
