SUMMARY
Things have been quiet on the front lines lately which is in part due to winter finally arriving. We used
ICRs 19802774 through ICRs 19803048 for a total of 274 calls. Last year in 2018 we did a total of 254 for the
same time period. Officers have been assisting Public Works in tracking down people that have not shoveled
their sidewalks.

Shift Bids have been placed for the year and officers will see any changes in assignments and work

shifts to the schedule on January 1. On December 4, 2019 members of the police department completed their
first outside cold weather shoot in the dark since I have worked for the department in 2002. Officers dealt with
complications in drawing, holstering, and shooting in cold weather temps and restrictions of clothing and
wearing hat and gloves. Temps dropped to high teens and low 20s during the course of the shoot.
