BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Recently both the State of Minnesota and Stearns County have
removed their bans for studded tracks on snowmobile trails. Currently the City of St Joseph bans the use
of studs on trails in its jurisdiction.
ATTACHEMENT: N/A
REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Determine how the City of St Joseph would like to proceed in
regards to stud use on local trails.
