AGENDA ITEM: Election Judges – Requested Action: Appoint Election Judges
for the 2020 Presidential Nomination Primary.

BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Minnesota Statute requires that municipalities appoint Election
Judges.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: For each election the City Council is required to appoint Election
Judges to serve on Election Day. Each precinct must have a minimum of four judges at all times. The
judges presented below will serve for the Presidential Nomination Primary on March 3, 2020. In the
event that additional judges are needed for the General, a supplemental list of judges will be presented to
the Council for appointment. Election judges for the Primary and General Elections will come before the
Council at a later date.
