FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT
TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL

SUMMARY

The Finance Department continues to prepare for the audit fieldwork. Fieldwork begins March 16.
The Finance Dept assisted with the Presidential Nomination Primary election, both early voting and the
day of the election. Mary assisted Kayla with election coordination.

Utility bills for Jan/Feb usage along with the city newsletter mailed March 13. The newsletter is also
mailed to residents in the OAA area. The utility bills are the first bills with the 2020 rates reflected.
Lori is working with S.E.H. to receive $415,000 from the City’s MSAS construction fund for the 2019
street improvements.
Lori with working with Therese on a potential Revolving Loan application, and also on a Legacy grant
application for East Park.
Lori provided financial data for the COPS grant application.
STAFF
Hannah had her baby early, a beautiful baby girl. She will be off for 12 weeks. Admin staff have
assisted to complete tasks normally completed by Hannah.
