HomeMy WebLinkAbout[04h] 2020 compost agreement Council Agenda Item 4h MEETING DATE: March 16, 2020 AGENDA ITEM: 2020 Compost Agreement SUBMITTED BY: Administration/Public Works BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: In 2013, the City entered into an agreement with C&L Excavating, Inc to manage the compost area. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Compost site is open to residents of the City of St. Joseph, st St. Joseph Township, St. Wendel Township, and the City of St. Cloud. The site will be open May 1 – November 1st (weather permitting). There are no fee increases and the changes to the agreement were to update the holiday closures. The agreement is set to expire on December 31, 2020. BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: ATTACHMENTS: Request for Council Action Compost Agreement REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize the Mayor and Administrator to execute the 2020 Compost Agreement with C&L Excavating, Inc.
