PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Minnesota Economic Development Foundation has
awarded the City of St. Joseph a $1,000 Community Internship Scholarship for salary for an intern. The
City budgeted for a Planning Intern in 2020 to assist the Community Development Department with
planning and economic development related tasks. The temporary position was posted in February and we
have received seven applications that are currently under review.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: 2020 Budgeted Amount is $4,500.
