ADMINISTRATION REPORT
TO: HONERABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
DATE: May 15, 2020
SUMMARY
Administration staff has been busy with adding COVID-19 response to normal daily workload. Kayla
has been working with election officials to determine the best course of action with the upcoming election in
response to the virus. I have been meeting with area administrator weekly to collaborate resources and unify
response.
STAFF
Finalized union agreements through 2022. Staff has met to help determine project prioritization for upcoming
street repairs.
FACILITIES
City facilities remain as restricted access in regards to COVID-19. Daily sanitizing is occurring to protect staff
from exposure.
MEETINGS & TRAINING
Most meeting are being handle via phone, or online meeting sources. Both the League of Minnesota Cites and
the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cites have been providing training opportunities to help guide response and
reopening strategies.
