BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: Approval of hiring Rob Lyon to

the St. Joseph Fire Department. Would like to have him start on July 1, 2020.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: N/A
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Rob started with the SJFD the spring of 2017. In July of 2019,
his family moved out of our designated fire response area and he was forced to step down. His family has
now moved back into town and he wants to continue with the SJFD. All of his training that we put him
through is still up to date.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: None.
