BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Staff has been working with the CVB to come up with summer
events to help out local businesses. The events would occur on Thursdays throughout July. There will
need to be road closures at some of the locations. The recommendation is to process these road closures
administratively between Admin, the Police Department, and Public Works.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: None

REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Allow staff to process road closures administratively for the
summer events.
