PUBLIC WORKS REPORT
TO: HONERABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL

SUMMARY
The City has been working on COVID related issues. Staff has distributed 38 picnic tables borrowed
from the Sisters and CSB. The tables were well received by the businesses and used immediately by there
customers. Staff has continued to disinfect restrooms, play equipment and buildings. Staff has assisted CSB on
there irrigation at the Athletic complex until their irrigation system was repaired.
STAFF
Staff have been disinfecting buildings and equipment on a daily basis, staff is operating with COVID 19
safety recommendations. Park amenities have been opened by staff with a disinfecting schedule. Staff has been
mowing, picking up trash, repairing sod damage. patching pot holes, flushing sanitary sewers. Operations and
Maintaining utilities have been a priority during these fluid times.
UPCOMING MEETINGS & EVENTS
I have continued work on the 2021 budget. The 2019 street project has been completed and the paving in
the industrial park expansion has been paved in its entirety. Midco will be installing their cable into the
industrial park next week. Seeding and signage will be completed the following week. I have been working with
two vendors on receiving quotes on the Mn St Paver replacements/repairs hoping to have something for the
council. The Millstream parking expansion and the base ball parking area have been prepped for concrete and
paving.
