BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION N/A
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION Council had decided to not charge civic groups for use of city facilities
for 2024, but had noted that fees would be applied beginning in 2025.
REFERENCE AND BACKGROUND
Staff wants to confirm that council is still agreeable to begin charging civic groups/non-profits
fees for using city facilities in 2025. The following organizations currently use city buildings at no
cost:
• Lions Club
• Women of Today
• Chamber
• RSVP
• Stearns County Parks Department
• Stearns County Sherriff’s Department
• Minnesota Rural Water Association
The fees would be $200 rental fee & $200 damage deposit
